A S SE Smithske was founded in 1834 and is well known for producing DESM branded products. The ROTAN pump, manufactured by Desmirotan, is distributed worldwide through its subsidiaries, agents and distributors. In 1915 an American Danish immigrant invented the inner gear pump working principle, in 1921, a Danish company was licensed to produce this gear pump, and Rotan brand to promote around the world. The Standard Structure Design of Rotan pump has become the most advanced internal gear pump design in the world. The ROTAN internal gear pump provides favourable flow conditions because a change in flow direction requires only a slight adjustment to the pump. This means that can provide a strong self-priming capacity and smooth transport, while can transport high-viscosity media.
