The pneumatic pump produced by pneumatic pump manufacturers generally refers to the pneumatic diaphragm pump, which is the abbreviation of the pump. It should be noted that as a new type of conveying machinery in China, pneumatic diaphragm pumps are different from traditional pumps. This pump mainly uses compressed air as the power source, which allows it to work in various flammable and explosive hazardous areas without worrying about sparks caused by grounding. In addition, for various corrosive liquids, liquids with particles, high viscosity, volatile, flammable, and highly toxic liquids, they can all be pumped and absorbed.


The gas supply pressure of the metal diaphragm pump shall not exceed 125 PSI (8.6 BAR), and the gas supply pressure of the plastic pump shall not exceed 100 PSI (6.9 BAR). Connect the air inlet of the pump to an air source with sufficient capacity and pressure that meets the design requirements. If the gas supply line is a hard pipeline, connect a short hose between the pump and pipeline to reduce distortion. In addition to the air intake cover, the weight of the air intake pipeline and pressure regulating filter must also be supported by some means. If the pipeline is not supported, it may damage the pump. A pressure regulating valve must be installed to ensure that the gas supply pressure does not exceed the specified range.

(1) The pump will not overheat: compressed air is used as the power, and during exhaust, it is an expansion and heat absorption process. When the pneumatic pump operates, the temperature decreases, and no harmful gases are discharged.


(2) No electric sparks generated: Pneumatic diaphragm pumps do not use electricity as power, and grounding prevents static sparks.


(3) The fluids that can be transported range from low viscosity to high viscosity, from corrosive to viscous. It can be achieved through liquid containing particles: because it operates in a volumetric manner and is imported with a ball valve, it is not easily blocked.


(4) It can run empty without any danger.


(5) Can dive for work.


The working principle of pneumatic pumps is to rely on compressed air as power. When the diaphragm is under high pressure air, it moves to the designated position with the diaphragm. The air valve can control compressed air to slowly flow into the space behind the diaphragm. After pushing the diaphragm with compressed air, it moves away from the intermediate and uses the connection of the connecting rod to move the diaphragm towards the intermediate. On the other side, the diaphragm utilizes hydraulic action to flow the medium in the compression membrane chamber onto the valve ball at the inlet, driving the contact between the valve seat and the valve ball to seal the inlet pipeline.


Installation and start-up of pneumatic diaphragm pump: The diaphragm pump should be placed as close to the product as possible to shorten the oil suction pipe and reduce the number of parts. Do not reduce the pipe size of the electric spray diaphragm pump. To extend the service life of the diaphragm, the pump should be placed as close as possible to the liquid being pumped. When the inlet pressure exceeds 3 meters, a set of pressure relief devices should be installed to extend the service life of the diaphragm. If a hard pipe is installed, use a short pipe between the pump and the pipe.
